The Hotel Zurigo of Molveno is ideal for those seeking tranquillity and relaxation. It is equally close to the old town centre, Lake Molveno and all the sports and recreational facilities. It’s only 100 metres from the congress hall, where during summer the entertainment staff daily delight children in the games parks surrounding the area and adults with evening dances and other shows.
Only a few steps from the hotel, you’ll also find a crazy golf course, bowling greens, tennis courts, a basketball pitch, beach volleyball and 5-a-side football fields, pedal boats, canoes, windsurfing, the Olympic-style open-air heated swimming-pool and another for children.
The poet Fogazzaro described Molveno and its lake as “a precious pearl in an even more precious casket” and he was right. The town offers a marvellous scenic backdrop: the lake, the Dolomites of Brenta and the thick fir woods of the Paganella are unforgettable landscapes.
You can go up to the Pradel, on the slopes of the Dolomites of Brenta, by cabin lift and admire the enchanting view from up there. A few steps away is the didactic farm with numerous animals to be observed from close up. You can also try your hand at the “Forest Park” adventure park: ropes, climbing-nets, Tibetan bridges, etc., all for the amusement of adults and children in complete safety.
Continuing a little further you come to La Montanara mountain refuge, from which you seem almost to touch with your hands the summits of the Brenta group.
It’s also worth making a trip to the Paganella Summit, from which you can enjoy a 360-degree panorama ranging from Lake Garda to the Eastern Dolomites, the Marmolada, the Adige valley, the lakes of Toblino, Cavedine and Lamar, Trento and Monte Bondone.
